Everyone needs a go-to no-makeup makeup look that offers desired coverage for those busy days, or even as a base for more dramatic looks. For me, I love a natural look, but I find that I need more coverage then a bb cream or lightweight foundation. My main issues are faded acne scars and redness as well as very dry, fair skin (NC 15 for reference). Luckily, I found the perfect drugstore products to create a natural look while still covering flaws. Below is my list of must have’s and how I apply them for this look!
NYC BB Cream Matte
This bb cream is so inexpensive, provides great coverage and never looks dry or cakey. I apply a small amount of this product with the ELF selfie ready foundation brush.
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation
This foundation provides beautiful, flawless coverage and if used sparingly, won’t look dry. I dot one pump of this all over my face, focusing on blemishes or anywhere I need extra coverage. I start to blend it out using the same brush as before, but I leave the blemishes for last. After the foundation has started to set, I blend out the area around the blemishes for a flawless finish.
Ulta sculpting stick in highlight/Ulta lip+cheek color stick in mauves
These products are incredible. I apply the highlighting stick to the apples of my cheek and the high points of my cheekbones. I also apply some to my eyelids as well as the bridge of my nose. Then, I take the mauve color stick and apply it as my blush and my lipstick. I blend it all together using the same brush as above.
L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel
This product is so easy to use. I just brush this on my brows for natural, full looking eyebrows.
Maybelline soft and full mascara
This mascara is a staple in any collection. To finish up this look, I swipe it on my upper lashes.
Overall, these products provide a great amount of coverage, but leave you looking natural and flawless. What are your favorite no-makeup makeup products?
