Wonder why I’m posting this in early October and not the end of August like everyone else? I found that the first month of school everyone took the time to get up and look their best–meaning they did their makeup and picked out outfits.  When Fall comes around, and the weather gets cold is when I really need a streamlined back-to-school beauty guide!

I have put together a list of my favorite back to school beauty tips, for an easy, flawless Back To School Makeup routine.  These are designed to be applied in the car, on the bus or even in the bathroom between classes! First, MOISTURIZE! I can’t emphasis this enough. I’m terrible at remembering to moisturize, but this is the key difference between exhausted looking skin and a healthy, glowing complexion.  I keep a small jar by my bed and one in my purse at all times, so I have no excuse not to do it!  My favorite is Pond’s Nourishing Moisturizing Cream.

Next, if your anything like me you are running out the door every morning, trying to throw on clothes that make you look like you aren’t a complete mess WHILE trying to eat anything for breakfast.  Do yourself a favor and skip the liquid foundation!  There’s no winning with it when your rushing out the door.  If you apply with your fingers, then you get it all over EVERYTHING. If you use a brush, then it takes too long.  THEN you need to set it.  It takes far too much time, so invest in a powder compact instead.  If you have great skin, but just want oil control or a little extra coverage, then use a translucent powder.  I love the Milani Even Touch Powder Foundation, it’s great for all skin types-even dry skin!  Then, Swirl a fluffy brush in it to apply.

For eyes, invest in a brown eyeliner and apply it as eyeliner and to your lids.  This seems silly, but a brown shade creates the perfect eyeshadow and can be blended with your finger tip!  The best brown that isn’t too dark or too bronze that I’ve found is the Almay intense i-color eyeliner in Raisin Quartz.  Follow it up with a black mascara to make your eyes pop.  For bigger looking eyes, focus on the outer corner.  My go to is the Almay One Coat Get Up and Grow Mascara.  This has been my favorite for years!  The reason my favorite eye products are Almay is that they are great for my sensitive, dry eyes!

Finally, throw on a lip balm, or a moisturizing nude lipstick.  I recommend Burt’s Bees or Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Nude Beach.

How easy was that?  Now you are ready for the day!  Share your tips with me for easy, flawless back to school ,akeup in the comments below or send me an email!
